Each 1-bedroom level access self-contained apartment has
been purpose built with every detail thoughtfully crafted with comfort and
accessibility in mind.
The spacious open-plan living area is light and
inviting, featuring large windows that fill the space with natural light. The
modern fitted kitchen includes easy-reach cupboards, low level cooker and slip
resistant flooring.
The generously sized bedroom provides wide doorways for ease
of access. The wet room shower is purpose-built for convenience and safety
which include pre-fitted grab rails and slip resistant flooring.
There is a call monitoring system installed as standard in
all apartments designed to offer peace of mind allowing outgoing and incoming
communication to the on-site commissioned care provider 24/7. Lace employed
support staff available weekdays 9am to 3:30pm.

Lace Housing, founded in 1964, specialise in the provision
of affordable housing and support services for older and vulnerable
people in the county of Lincolnshire.
Diamond Place, situated in the popular village of Welton,
was named in celebration of the association’s Diamond Jubilee and is our newest
Housing with Extra Care scheme.
Diamond Place provides an environment designed to
enable residents to feel safe, secure and help with feelings of
loneliness and isolation. It also enables older people to receive planned care
and support in order for them to retain or regain their independence.
Communal Facilities
Communal facilities include lounge seating areas, restaurant
which offers a high quality meal everyday throughout the year, resident-led
events which offer a sense of community and companionship, assisted bathroom,
two mobility charging and storage rooms, multi-use communal rooms, external
seating & landscaped garden areas, drying areas and EV vehicle charging
points.
Lace employed support staff available weekdays 9am to 3:30pm.
Our friendly team are on-hand to assist and offer general tenancy related
support.
Eligibility
*To qualify for Extra Care Housing, applicants usually
need a minimum care need of one hour per week, a support
need, and recommended regular use of communal facilities. We are
currently considering applicants without an immediate care need but with a high
support need who would benefit from the extra care environment.

COST OF ANY CARE REQUIRMENTS - the cost of care is not included in the advertised rent or service charge. A care package is tailored to suit the individuals’ needs. This will be by the commissioned care provider on-site (Sage Care), and could be subject to a financial review for funding by LCC. This will be discussed in detail during the application stage by a Lace Housing Employee.
