Stunning six bedroom gated home in Oxshott
Description
Set behind private electric gates in expansive west facing gardens of just under approximately 1 acre.
The ground floor is mainly accessed from the central hallway with a striking oak staircase. There is a fabulous kitchen/breakfast room overlooking the gardens and on to the woodland beyond. The breakfast room leads into a superb family room with an attractive vaulted ceiling and a feature fireplace. The dining room is particularly characterful due to its bay window with garden access. The drawing room has superb proportions running the entire depth of the house and also has a large fireplace and French doors leading to the garden. The ground floor accommodation is completed by a study looking out over the front driveway, a utility room and a triple garage. Above the garage is a bonus room that would be ideal for a games room or another bedroom/annexe.
On the first floor there are four bedrooms, two of which are en suite and a family bathroom. The principal bedroom is exceptional with a double aspect and views of the garden from the Juliet balcony. It also has a dressing area and an indulgent bathroom.
The private and well established garden is mainly laid to lawn yet it still has distinct areas suiting different purposes. By the house these is an expansive patio area ideal for entertaining whilst further into the garden there is a sitting area with some established trees. To the rear of the garden is a useful garden room. The front driveway provides parking for numerous cars.
