We have a ground floor studio ready to move into for single occupants. To be eligible you must be either aged 60+ or 55 + and in receipt of Personal Independence Payments or Disability Living Allowance.
Preference given to those who can verify a need for a ground floor apartment with a level access shower.

You will be required to pay one month’s rent in advance on the tenancy start day £698.25 (studio apartment rent figures provided). Please note that if you are claiming or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some personal service charges that would not be covered. These include a £37.70pcm for personal heating, £8.15pcm charge towards the cost of support, and 7.44pcm administration charge and an optional charge for a personal alarm of £3.73pcm. A lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for payments. Please also note our preferred ongoing method of payment is via Direct Debit and we accept and Universal Credit.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
