Property description
An impressive Grade II listed home in the heart of Westerham, overlooking The Green
Description
A beautiful Grade II listed village home with many character features overlooking The Green and the statue of Sir Winston Churchill, with whom Westerham and the surrounding area has many associations.
The front door opens directly into the comfortable family room which boasts a deep window overlooking The Green, high ceiling with beam, and some exposed timbers to one wall.
The dining room boasts exposed timbers, inglenook style fireplace with inset brick surround and an exposed iron grill which was a previous window to the old town jail. There is also a door leading to the rear patio and garden beyond.
The adjoining kitchen boasts a vaulted ceiling and is fitted with a range of stylish upper and lower units.
The ground floor also benefits from a guest W.C and access to the cellar.
The first floor provides 2 well presented bedrooms, both with exposed timbers and fitted wardrobes, which are serviced by the well appointed family bathroom.
The second floor provides a further bedroom with en suite shower room.
Externally the property is approached by a one way lane. To the rear is the garden which is partly walled with a number of mature trees and shrubs, and a garden W.C.
Interested parties should note that the floor plan is for size reference only. The sink in bedroom 2 has been removed, and bedroom 1 has an en suite shower room fitted.
