Property description
Property Description: Little Byre is a recently renovated and fully furnished one bed country cottage in the village of Polsham and is available to rent on a short-term basis with bills included. It would make the perfect bolt hole for anyone working away from home in the area or anyone in need of a temporary home.
The cottage is all on one level and beautifully decorated and furnished. Through the wooden gate and up the stone paved path, you arrive at the front door complete with climbing rose. It really does feel like an escape to the country! The lawned garden wraps around the stone cottage and has countryside views across to the Mendip Hills.
The open plan kitchen/living room is stylish as well as spacious. There are exposed beams into the eaves, a travertine floor and large windows that let the light flood in. The kitchen has an induction hob, an electric cooker, a washing machine/tumble dryer and fridge. The cottage comes with a dining table and a seating area complete with TV.
Off the living room is the double bedroom with a king-size bed, a hanging rail and storage. There is access to the bathroom (bath with over shower) directly from the bedroom or from the living room, in a 'Jack & Jill' style.
Outside:The pretty cottage garden has already been mentioned along with the fabulous outlook. In addition there is a gravelled area with allocated parking for 2 cars.
Location:The cottage is on a quiet lane away from main roads on the edge of the village of Polsham. The area is perfect for country walks, fishing, cycling and there is bicycle storage available. The nearest pub is the well loved Sheppey Inn in Godney. Situated just a 5 -10 minute drive from Wells and Glastonbury, the cottage would be well suited to either a professional person or a couple who are looking for a short term let.
