3-bedroom Semi-Detached for rent at Lamberhurst, Tunbridge Wells, TN3

Bartley Mill is a remarkably spacious and characterful three-bedroom home, forming part of a historic former mill in an attractive rural setting near Lamberhurst.

Extending to approximately 2,200 sq ft (200 sq m), the property offers considerably more space than a typical three-bedroom house, with generous reception rooms, substantial bedrooms and a wealth of period character throughout.

The Mill retains the distinctive proportions and atmosphere of its historic origins, creating an individual home with exposed structural features, interesting architectural details and views over its rural surroundings. It would particularly suit tenants looking for something very different from a conventional modern house, while still requiring the space and practicality of a substantial family home.

The accommodation includes spacious living and dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and multiple bathrooms/WCs, together with useful ancillary and storage space.

The property is offered part furnished, allowing an incoming tenant considerable flexibility, with selected practical furnishings and appliances to include beds, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and window furnishings. The precise contents can be discussed with the successful applicant.

Outside, Bartley Mill enjoys a distinctive countryside setting associated with the historic mill and its waterways. There is private parking and an open two-bay garage space, together with access to the surrounding grounds.

Despite its peaceful rural position, the property is conveniently situated for Lamberhurst, Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells, with access to local shops, schools, pubs and mainline rail services from nearby stations. Frant railway station is 1.5 miles from the property (mainline train to Charing Cross, Cannon Street, London Bridge).

The Mill is within the catchment area for Wadhurst primary school, as well as the excellent grammar-schools in Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook.  The property is particularly well placed for a wide choice of independent schools, including Kent College Pembury, Bethany School, Saint Ronan’s, Dulwich Cranbrook, Holmewood House, Mayfield and Benenden, many within approximately 10–30 minutes by car.

Bartley Mill would suit professional tenants, a family with older children, or those relocating from London or overseas who are looking for a long-term rural home with exceptional space, history and individuality. Please note that the mill pond is unfenced, and the property may therefore be unsuitable for households with very young children or non-swimmers.

The property is available on a long-term tenancy at £2,995 per calendar month.
