Holding Deposit – Maximum of one week’s rent
A holding deposit is payable to reserve the property while referencing is undertaken. This is calculated as one week’s rent (monthly rent ÷ 4.35). It secures the property for up to 15 calendar days unless otherwise agreed in writing (up to a maximum of four weeks). If the tenancy proceeds, the holding deposit will be deducted from the first month's rent.
The holding deposit will be refunded unless:
