Detailed Description
Bailiffs Cottage, Bowldown
Bailiffs Cottage is an attractive detached country cottage offering bright, characterful accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. The property is well presented and has benefited from recent cosmetic touch-ups, creating a comfortable and welcoming home while retaining a warm cottage feel.
The property is approached via a large gravelled parking area, providing driveway parking for up to three cars. The front door opens into a central hallway, where a characterful staircase rises to the first floor.
To the right of the hallway is a generous sitting room, filled with natural light from windows on three sides. This inviting reception room enjoys attractive views and features an elegant wood-burning stove, creating a comfortable focal point for the room.
To the left of the hallway is a separate dining room, also enjoying excellent natural light from windows to both the front and rear. This provides a well-proportioned space for day-to-day dining or entertaining.
The dining room leads through to the kitchen/utility area, which offers practical storage and workspace. A door from the rear of the kitchen provides direct access out to the garden and patio area, making the layout particularly convenient for outdoor dining and summer use.
At the rear of the main hallway is a modern and stylish ground floor shower room, comprising shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Stairs rise to the first floor, where there are three double bedrooms and one single bedroom. All bedrooms benefit from good natural light, with the two larger rooms enjoying dual-aspect windows and views over the surrounding countryside.
The first floor is completed by a family bathroom serving the bedroom accommodation.

The property is offered unfurnished. The existing furniture may be available for an incoming tenant to purchase by separate negotiation; however, any furniture purchased would become the tenant's responsibility and would not be retained, maintained or replaced by the landlord.
Outside
The property benefits from a particularly generous wrap-around garden of approximately 0.4 acres, providing excellent outdoor space in a wonderful countryside setting.
The garden is well manicured and includes areas of rolling lawn, together with a patio area cut into the hillside and framed by a characterful Cotswold stone wall.
