Property description
A Characterful Two-Bedroom Apartment with Parking, Just Moments from Taunton Town Centre
Tucked away just off Taunton town centre, this charming first-floor period apartment offers a lovely combination of character, convenience and a fresh, contemporary finish.
The property has recently been refurbished throughout, including a brand-new kitchen, new flooring and fresh decoration, whilst still retaining some of the charm you would expect from a period home.
Access is through a communal entrance shared with just one other apartment. Your own wooden front door then opens into a private staircase leading upstairs to the apartment.
The larger of the two bedrooms is positioned at the front of the property and is a generous double. A large double-glazed window brings in plenty of natural light, whilst the alcoves and attractive fireplace surround add a lovely sense of character.
The kitchen has been newly fitted and is both stylish and practical, with an integrated slimline dishwasher, brand-new oven and gas hob, together with space for your own fridge freezer and washing machine. There is also enough room for a small breakfast table, making this a really useful everyday space.
The living room sits just off the kitchen and is a comfortable, light-filled room with a front-facing window, fresh decoration and new flooring.
At the rear is the second bedroom, which works well as a smaller double, guest bedroom or home office depending on your needs.
The bathroom is surprisingly spacious and has been arranged as a generous four-piece suite, with a full-sized bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
The apartment benefits from double glazing and gas central heating, making it a comfortable home throughout the year.
And then there is the parking - something particularly difficult to find this close to Taunton town centre. One private parking space is available directly outside the property, making everyday life that little bit easier.
Overall, this is a wonderfully convenient home for anyone wanting to be within easy reach of Taunton town centre, whilst still enjoying the character and space of a period property.
