if you're looking for a home that's easy to live in and doesn't leave you fighting for somewhere to put everything, this two-bedroom coach house in Coate could be a good fit.
The lounge/diner is a lovely bright space, with windows on two sides and a Juliette balcony overlooking the green space. There's plenty of room for a sofa and dining table, and it's the sort of room you'll actually want to spend time in.
The kitchen is well set up for everyday life, with an integrated washing machine and dishwasher, electric double oven, gas hob and extractor, plus space for your own fridge freezer. There's also a really useful pantry cupboard over the stairs — ideal for keeping all the tins, cleaning bits and kitchen gadgets that otherwise end up taking over the kitchen.
Both bedrooms are good-sized doubles, so there's no need to compromise on the second room. It could work well as a guest room, home office or simply somewhere to keep the stuff you don't want in the main bedroom.
The bathroom has a bath with a thermostatic shower over, so you have the option of a quick shower, if you're someone that is always rushing, or a proper bath after a long week at work.
Outside, there's a driveway and garage, with rear access and additional storage. The garage is particularly handy for bikes, tools, Christmas decorations and all the other things you don't really want taking up space indoors.
The location is another bonus. Coate Water is close by, so you've got somewhere nearby for a walk, run or bike ride when you want to get out for some fresh air. Great Western Hospital is also within easy reach, with regular buses into Swindon and good road links for commuting.
Overall, it's a practical home with good-sized rooms, plenty of storage and the added bonus of parking and a garage — without feeling like you're giving up on having a nice living space.
