LOCATION
The picturesque, medieval market town of Reigate is located in South East Surrey. The town which retains a village feel, not only has a reputation for its charming architecture, but has become very popular with families, due to its outstanding local schools. One thing Reigate does particularly well, is its independent shopping, with an amazing array of fashion boutiques, interior design, hobby, and gift shops, alongside the usual names like Mint Velvet, Crew and Oliver Bonas. We love browsing in Gerrards and Quattro Rish. It is home to an impressive variety of restaurants and bars! Once you've had brunch at Cullenders Parkside or picked up a couple of freshly baked Portuguese custard tarts at Canakin, head up to the historical castle ruins to enjoy the view! At the heart of Reigate is Priory Park, it's magnificent 200-acre park, woodland, children's playground, and pavilion café offer a tranquil escape, as well as host to a number of annual events. Reigate lies at the foot of the North Downs, providing a magnificent backdrop, surrounded by beautiful Surrey countryside and parks, boasting vast amounts of lush green open spaces and nature for walking and cycling. The town ideally sits on the London commuter belt, its regular and direct links to Central London make it very favourable, London Victoria can be reached in just 50 minutes, as well as its positioning just off the M25, providing easy access to Gatwick Airport in 20 minutes.
