Property description
A four bedroom maisonette on Brighton Road in Purley, set over the top two floors of a converted period house, unfurnished and newly refurbished throughout, with Reedham station at the end of the road.
The reception room sits at the front, with twin windows that look out over rooftops and trees and a wide arched opening onto the rest of the floor. Wood-effect flooring runs from the living space through to the kitchen, which is fitted in cream shaker units with walnut-effect worktops, a stainless steel chimney extractor over the hob, a splashback behind it and a built-in oven. The kitchen appliances and the carpets are new this year.
Two bedrooms sit on the same floor. The larger looks to the front; the second opens through a glazed door onto a private balcony, with the outlook over the garden and mature trees to the rear. Both are served by a shower room with a glazed corner enclosure and a vanity unit with storage under the basin.
The floor above holds two more bedrooms under a vaulted ceiling, one laid with wood-effect flooring and one carpeted, and a bathroom tiled in stone-effect porcelain with a bath and a separate walk-in shower. Behind them runs a long band of eaves storage, so the cases and boxes have somewhere to go. Parking is an allocated space on the driveway and the windows are double glazed.
