Converted in 2022, this distinctive one-bedroom coach house combines original architectural features with contemporary design. Exposed timber beams, brickwork and striking Crittall windows give the property a unique character, while the generous reception space and thoughtfully designed interiors create an appealing home in a peaceful rural setting.
The ground floor centres around an impressive reception room, where vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and brickwork combine to create a striking sense of space and character. Floor-to-ceiling Crittall doors frame views of the charming walled garden, drawing natural light into the room and creating a seamless connection between the original architecture and contemporary design. Oil-fired underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, providing a comfortable and efficient heating solution.
Adjacent to the reception room, the kitchen and dining area is defined by original timber panelling, exposed ceiling timbers and warm wooden finishes. Dark cabinetry and generous worktop space provide a contemporary finish, while sash windows overlook the garden. A separate utility area and downstairs cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation.
Stairs lead to a generous first-floor bedroom measuring over 200 sqft, where exposed beams, a casement window overlooking the mature driveway and a traditional timber latch door continue the property's character.
The first floor also benefits from a stylish shower room, featuring a walk-in shower, elegant gold-effect fittings and a Velux window that brings in natural light.
Externally, the property is offered with one parking space within a car port and a large lawn to enjoy, inclusive of the rent which also includes water.
