£170pppw - This substantial double-fronted 7-bed student house in the heart of Jesmond, Newcastle’s most popular student neighbourhood. Offering seven double bedrooms, four with their own shower facilities, it’s ideal for a group of friends looking for space, comfort and an unbeatable location.
The house is built for sociable living, with a large dining kitchen complete with a range cooker, perfect for shared meals and pre-drinks, and a comfortable lounge with a flat-screen TV for film nights. Outside, the back garden is a great spot for summer barbecues and relaxing between lectures. With a family bathroom, a separate shower room and a separate WC on top of the four rooms with showers, there’s no queuing on busy mornings.
The location is hard to beat. Both Newcastle University and Northumbria University are within walking distance, and Jesmond and West Jesmond Metro stations put the city centre, the coast and the airport within easy reach. The bars, restaurants and cafés of Osborne Road are just around the corner, and Acorn Road offers independent shops, coffee spots and takeaways. For everyday essentials, Waitrose and Tesco are close by.
When it’s time to switch off, Jesmond Dene offers riverside walks and green space, while the Town Moor and Exhibition Park are perfect for summer afternoons, sport and fitness. Jesmond is also known as a safe, friendly residential area with a strong student community, giving you the best of both worlds: a lively social scene on your doorstep and a quieter home to come back to.
Properties of this size in central Jesmond are always in demand, so early viewing is highly recommended.
