Property description
To let – a modern 2-bedroom flat situated in Mere House, in the heart of Manchester’s M15 district, ideally placed for city-centre living and the nearby business and university quarters.
The flat offers a well-proportioned open-plan reception room with good natural light from large windows and a pleasant outlook over the surrounding canalside and contemporary developments. The living area is arranged to accommodate both seating and dining space, with neutral décor and wood-effect flooring providing a practical and easy-to-furnish backdrop.
The open-plan kitchen is fitted with contemporary units and coordinated worktops, with integrated oven, hob and extractor, and ample storage and preparation space. The layout is designed to serve the main living area well, making it suitable for everyday cooking and entertaining.
There are two double bedrooms, each with neutral walls and carpeting, allowing incoming tenants to personalise the space easily. Both rooms benefit from large windows, providing a good level of natural light, and offer space for standard bedroom furniture. The arrangement of the bedrooms, separate from the main living area, supports both sharers and professionals seeking a dedicated work-from-home or guest room.
The bathroom is finished in a clean, modern style with a white suite comprising bath with shower over, wash basin and WC, together with tiled splashbacks and a glazed shower screen. The property has an EPC rating of D and falls within Council Tax band C.
Mere House forms part of a well-regarded canalside development on the edge of Manchester city centre. The location places you within easy reach of the facilities of Deansgate, Spinningfields and Oxford Road, with an extensive choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and everyday amenities. Local green spaces include Hulme Park and the open areas around Castlefield’s canals, offering pleasant walking routes and places to unwind.
Public transport connections are a key advantage of this flat. Deansgate and Deansgate-Castlefield stations are within walking distance, providing rail and Metrolink tram services across Greater Manchester. Trains from Deansgate run to Oxford Road and Piccadilly in just a few minutes, with onward connections to Liverpool, Leeds and other regional centres. The nearby tram network offers direct routes to MediaCityUK, Altrincham, East Didsbury and Manchester Airport. Regular bus services along the main nearby routes give further options for reaching the universities, the Arndale and beyond.
For motorists, the property offers straightforward access to the inner ring road, linking quickly with the M602 and M60 for travel around the region.
With its two double bedrooms, modern open-plan living space and highly convenient canalside setting close to central Manchester, this flat to let will appeal to tenants seeking practical, well-located accommodation with strong transport links and ready access to the city’s employment, retail and leisure hubs.
