Property description
Fabulous Thatched Barn Conversion, beautifully modernised, with wonderful garden and views
Description
A real gem and a complete one-off, this is an exquisite Grade II listed, two bedroom thatched barn, stylishly modernised and beautifully positioned in the South-West Cheshire countryside.
The house opens into the bright, dual aspect Kitchen/Diner, with double doors opening onto a spacious patio and expansive, South-West facing private garden, with uninterrupted countryside beyond. Beyond the kitchen, a hallway with storage cupboards and adjacent W.C. leads to a good sized double bedroom with open plan en suite shower and sink.
Elsewhere, two staircases provide access upstairs. The rear staircase leads to the second bedroom - another spacious double room with adjacent bathroom. The front staircase leads to a fabulous living space with exposed thatched roof and feature window overlooking the garden and countryside through the exposed original beams.
The property is offered part-furnished, and comes with parking.
Please note that the photographs are over 6 months old.
This property is located in an area where there are working farms and noise may occasionally be heard. However, it is generally minimal and does not affect the enjoyment of the home. We encourage prospective tenants to visit the area and satisfy themselves regarding local conditions before applying.
Location
The property is located in a serene, secluded location in the Hamlet of Carden, close to the village of Tilston, and within half an hour drive of Chester.
This area is amongst the most picturesque in Cheshire, with excellent schools, good pubs, a wide range of outdoor and leisure pursuits and easy access to the centres of Malpas - a charming town with a range of local shops - and the city of Chester.
