Please Quote Ref JS0322 When Calling If you’re looking for a modern, easy-to-manage home within walking distance of Macclesfield town centre and the railway station, this two-bedroom property on Cross Street offers a particularly convenient location and is available for a long-term let.
The accommodation is compact but well planned, with the entire ground floor given over to an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space measuring over 18ft in length. There is plenty of room to create separate seating and dining areas, while the modern fitted kitchen provides a good range of storage and worktop space together with an electric hob, oven and extractor. There is also space for a tall fridge freezer and plumbing for a washing machine. Wood-effect flooring runs throughout the ground floor, while recessed lighting gives the space a clean, contemporary finish.
A rear hallway provides useful additional storage, houses the combination boiler and gives access to a secure gated communal courtyard to the rear.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. The main bedroom is a good-sized double with a useful built-in storage cupboard, while the second bedroom would work well as a single bedroom, home office or occasional guest room. Completing the accommodation is a smart modern shower room with a corner enclosure, overhead thermostatic shower, vanity wash basin and WC, finished with marble-effect tiling and contrasting black fittings.
Cross Street is particularly well placed for anyone wanting to be close to the centre of Macclesfield, with the town's shops, cafés, bars and other amenities all readily accessible. Macclesfield railway station is also within walking distance, making this a convenient base for commuters with regular services towards Manchester and London.
With modern interiors, two bedrooms and a central location, this is a great option for a single occupant or couple looking for a low-maintenance home that they can rent on a longer-term basis.
The property is offered to the market on an unfurnished basis and is available for immediate occupation, subject to satisfactory references.
