The Apartment

A large one bedroom apartment (it was converted from two bedrooms) with plenty of storage. There is a bright and airy dual aspect living room / kitchen which has triple glazing and a skylight so there is a huge amount of natural light and the apartment is very quiet. The kitchen has granite work tops and Miele appliances including fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas hob, extractor fan. The bedroom is over 20 feet long and there is a separate area, which is ideal for a home office. There are ample built in wardrobes. There is full gas central heating controlled by a thermostat.

The apartment is very quiet as it is on the top floor. One living room wall borders another apartment but all other rooms have no-one adjacent.

The bathroom is large and has a bath (with shower above), shaver point and storage.

The location

Right in the heart of the West End (0.1 miles from central London). There is no need for public transport but if you want it then Charing Cross (tube and train) is a very short walk (the building opposite). There is a black cab rank at the top of Villiers Street (on The Strand). There are far too many nearby art galleries, restaurants, theatres to list. Villiers Street runs between The Strand and The Thames. The City is around a mile away. The Houses of Parliament and Soho are within a mile. Canary Wharf can be reached by boat from Embankment Pier (under 5 minutes walk). Many of London's major universities are nearby.

The building

The building is picturesque and secure and has a video entry phone system. There is no lift or communal outside area but there is a secure system for collecting post.

The tenant(s)

An ideal apartment for a person (or couple) who wants to have all the benefits of living in the heart of the city in a tranquil and secure modern apartment. There is plenty of space to work from home, including a home office area. Smoking is prohibited. Most pets will not be permitted due to restrictions in the building.

Furniture

The apartment comes fully furnished with a bed, sofa, dining table and chairs, desk and chair, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, crockery, utensils, lights, art, TV, media stand, shelving, and so forth. These items can be removed if required.

Broadband

High speed fibre is available via
