Property description
Behind the white-painted façade of De Vere Cottages, this three-bedroom period house unfolds across three floors, extending to approximately 2,134 sq. ft. The refurbished interiors feature generous rooms, timber flooring and extensive fitted storage, with large windows overlooking the mews courtyard.
On the ground floor, herringbone flooring runs through the dining room, where exposed ceiling beams and broad windows lend character to the space. The separate kitchen has glossy white cabinetry, marble-patterned worktops and a central island with breakfast-bar seating. A utility room and guest cloakroom complete this floor.
The first-floor reception room measures almost 27 feet in length, with a fireplace, fitted shelving and glazed doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the courtyard. A double bedroom on the same floor has built-in wardrobes and an ensuite shower room, while a separate cloakroom is accessed from the landing.
Two further bedrooms lie on the second floor. The principal bedroom has a high ceiling, a wall of fitted wardrobes and a small private balcony. Its ensuite bathroom includes twin basins, a bath and a separate shower. The third bedroom also has built-in storage and is served by a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
De Vere Cottages is tucked away off Canning Place, adjacent to De Vere Gardens and close to Kensington Gardens. The shops, restaurants and cafés of Kensington High Street and Gloucester Road are within easy reach, along with Underground connections from High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road.
