Property description
Set within a handsome redbrick period building close to Kensington Gardens, this generously proportioned two-bedroom duplex extends to approximately 1,761 sq ft, with a substantial private terrace and the benefit of an on-site porter.
The reception room is the centrepiece of the apartment, stretching almost 29 feet and providing ample space for both seating and dining. Wooden flooring and a feature fireplace lend warmth and character, while French doors open directly onto the decked terrace. Enclosed by brick walls and established planting, this is an appealing extension of the living space for outdoor dining and entertaining. A separate kitchen incorporates granite work surfaces, a breakfast bar and an American-style fridge-freezer.
Both double bedrooms are situated on the lower level, creating a clear separation between the living and sleeping accommodation. The principal bedroom has a broad bay window and an en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. Bespoke fitted wardrobes provide generous storage in both rooms, complemented by a separate utility room and guest cloakroom.
Integrated heating and air conditioning, together with underfloor heating in the bathrooms, add to the apartment’s comfort. Available unfurnished.
Palace Gate places the open spaces of Kensington Gardens close at hand, alongside the shops, restaurants and transport connections of Kensington High Street. High Street Kensington Underground station is approximately half a mile away.
