Property description
Tucked away in a quiet mews just moments from the colour and character of Portobello Road, this striking one bedroom house offers contemporary living across three beautifully considered floors.
The ground floor is given over to a generous open plan kitchen and dining room, finished with polished concrete floors that lend the space a sleek, industrial edge. Designed for both everyday living and entertaining, the room flows easily from cooking to dining, with plenty of space for a full-sized table. The first floor is home to a well-proportioned double bedroom with its own luxurious marble en-suite bathroom. A second bathroom on this level provides additional convenience for guests, making the house as practical as it is stylish. The top floor is a real highlight: a bright and airy reception room beneath a large skylight, which floods the space with natural light throughout the day. It is a wonderful spot for relaxing, hosting friends or enjoying a quiet evening under the stars. Adding a touch of theatre, a modern dumb waiter links the ground floor kitchen to the reception room above, making it effortless to send food and drinks up to guests without a trip up and down the stairs.
Vernon Yard is a peaceful mews, a rare retreat from the bustle of the area while remaining right on the doorstep of Portobello Road's famous market, independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Notting Hill Gate and Ladbroke Grove stations are close by, offering excellent transport links across London.
