Property description
Outside, portico-fronted townhouses and cast-iron railings bear witness to Arundel Garden’s architectural heritage. Inside, a one-bedroom apartment is elevated with a contemporary eye.
Step into a spacious open-plan reception room and kitchen, where lofty proportions are met with quietly sophisticated interiors. Blonde parquet floors span the entire space, delineated into dining, living and culinary zones. Views of the leafy garden through large sash windows are thoroughly soothing, whilst cascades of light filter into the room.
The room’s blush palette extends across the kitchen, where light cabinetry melds with the walls and smooth marble worktops frame integrated appliances. A chandelier crowns the dining space, imagined for morning coffees or intimate mealtime gatherings. Through a Crittall-inspired door, a walkway leads to the private garden; its immaculate decking is framed by verdant greenery. Plus, there’s access to the communal grasses of Arundel Gardens.
Considered design extends through the principal bedroom at the rear, where warm tonal details adorn tall blush walls. Alongside an in-room freestanding tub, a neighbouring shower room hosts a marble-clad shower and brushed gold details.
