Property description
Entering the apartment, the reception room spans a generous section of the building, its sloping ceiling line hinting at the property's position beneath the roof and lending a distinctive, characterful feel to the space. An arched window fills the room with natural light, while French doors open directly onto the terrace. Set back yet remaining open plan, a built-in bar area with a stone countertop sits to one side, with a dining nook and fitted bench occupying a further arched recess.
The kitchen, adjacent to the reception room, is fitted with wooden cabinetry beneath marble countertops and a matching marble splashback, with an integrated oven and hob.
The bedroom enjoys a peaceful aspect over its own terrace, accessed through glazed doors beyond a glass balustrade.
The separate bathroom features a glass-enclosed shower with a rainfall showerhead and built-in niche, marble-style tiling extending to the ceiling, a fitted vanity sink, and a wall-mounted towel rail.
The apartment is fitted with air conditioning, while the bathroom benefits from underfloor heating, adding to the overall sense of comfort throughout.
The property has outside space in the form of two terraces, one accessible from the reception room and the other from the bedroom. The larger terrace offers space for outdoor seating, with views across the surrounding red-brick rooftops and chimneys of the neighbourhood. The second terrace, enclosed by a glass balustrade, overlooks the same streetscape. Residents also have access to the communal garden within the development.
Egerton Gardens is a quiet residential street in the heart of Knightsbridge, moments from the shops and restaurants of Brompton Road. South Kensington and Knightsbridge underground stations are both within easy reach, with Harrods, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Natural History Museum all a short walk away. The open spaces of Hyde Park are close by, alongside an array of upmarket boutiques and well-regarded restaurants in the surrounding streets.
