Property description
Guild House forms part of the contemporary Bermondsey Works development, a modern residential community that combines architectural flair with comprehensive lifestyle amenities. This split-level apartment captures the essence of contemporary urban living, where thoughtful design and premium facilities create an environment perfectly suited to modern renters seeking both comfort and flexibility.
The apartment's split-level configuration maximises space and natural light throughout. The principal living floor welcomes you with an open-plan kitchen and reception room, where floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright, airy atmosphere that extends seamlessly onto a private balcony overlooking the rooftops of south east London. The integrated kitchen features modern appliances including a dishwasher, complemented by dedicated dining and lounging areas that flow naturally together. Practical understairs storage and a convenient guest WC complete this social floor, making it ideal for both everyday living and entertaining.
The second level reveals two generous double bedrooms, each designed as a private retreat. The principal bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom and built-in wardrobe storage, while the second bedroom is equally well-proportioned. A smart three-piece family bathroom serves the second bedroom, ensuring comfort and convenience for households or those hosting guests. The furnished specification means you can move in immediately and settle into your new home with ease.
Bermondsey Works residents enjoy access to an impressive communal roof terrace offering 360-degree views that sweep across The City and The Shard, creating a spectacular backdrop for relaxation or social gatherings. The development's concierge service provides security and convenience, while the onsite gym and secure bicycle storage cater to active lifestyles. These shared amenities transform the building into more than just a residence—it becomes a complete living environment.
Transport connections offer excellent flexibility for navigating London. South Bermondsey Overground station and Bermondsey Underground station are both easily accessible on foot or by short bus journey, placing central London, Canary Wharf, and the wider transport network within comfortable reach. This connectivity makes the location particularly suitable for professionals working across various London hubs, while the riverside setting provides a peaceful counterpoint to the city's bustle.
The surrounding neighbourhood pulses with the energy of regenerated South Bermondsey and Rotherhithe. Surrey Quays Shopping Centre sits nearby, providing supermarkets and retail outlets for everyday essentials, while the Thames Path offers scenic riverside walks and cycling routes that connect you to London's waterfront heritage. The area's evolving character blends historic dockside charm with contemporary urban development, creating a dynamic setting for modern living.
This apartment offers the perfect combination of contemporary design, comprehensive amenities, and flexible location—ideal for tenants seeking a furnished home that balances urban convenience with genuine lifestyle appeal.
