Property description
This exceptional apartment offers an outstanding combination of elegant design, world-class amenities and five-star resident services, creating a lifestyle rarely found in London.
One Blackfriars, known as the "Vase", rises 170 metres above the South Bank. This distinctive 50-storey glass-clad tower has become an iconic part of London's skyline, offering breath-taking views across the River Thames and the city beyond.
Developed by St George, part of the Berkeley Group, One Blackfriars is a mixed-use development comprising 274 private apartments and penthouses and a beautifully landscaped public piazza with water features and commissioned artwork, creating a vibrant setting at the heart of the South Bank.
Positioned within this landmark development, this professionally interior-designed dual-aspect two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment pairs considered design with exceptional functionality. The open-plan living space is framed by westerly views across the River Thames, while a spacious wrap-around winter garden extends the living area and creates a connection between inside and out.
The apartment offers two generously proportioned double bedrooms, each with bespoke fitted wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling glazing opening directly onto the wrap-around winter garden. The principal bedroom benefits from an en suite bathroom, while a separate family bathroom serves the second bedroom and guests.
Every detail has been specified to a high standard, from luxury Italian furnishings and premium Miele kitchen appliances to an integrated Bang & Olufsen television and audio system, Hyperoptic high-speed broadband and a fully integrated Sky television system. The apartment also benefits from a right to park with an inclusive valet parking service.
Residents enjoy a superb collection of private amenities comparable to those of a luxury five-star hotel including a 24-hour concierge, 24-hour security and an impressive reception. Wellness facilities comprise a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, fitness studio with scheduled classes, spa treatment room, sauna, steam room and snow room. Additional spaces include a golf simulation room, wine tasting room with private wine storage, a private 25-seat cinema, boardroom facilities and exclusive entertaining spaces, all complemented by the Residents' Lounge on the 32nd floor with panoramic views across London.
One Blackfriars occupies a prime position on the South Bank, moments from some of London's most celebrated cultural and culinary destinations. Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, Borough Market, the National Theatre and the Southbank Centre are all within easy walking distance, complemented by an excellent selection of independent cafes, riverside bars and restaurants. Dining options range from neighbourhood favourites to renowned venues including Aqua, Oblix and Sea Containers, while some of London's finest Michelin-starred restaurants are just a short journey away.
Transport connections are exceptional. Blackfriars Station provides Thameslink and National Rail services, while Southwark, Waterloo and London Bridge stations offer access to the Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo, Waterloo & City, Circle and District lines, connecting seamlessly across London. River services from Bankside Pier offer an alternative way to travel along the Thames, while London City Airport can be reached in approximately 30 minutes.
