Luxury Ensuite King Room + Walk in Wardrobe. Virtually Have the Flat to Yourself (West Hampstead)
The Setup
This is a rare opportunity to essentially get a luxury one bedroom apartment for the price of a room share. I am the landlord (a professional in my late 30s) but I am mostly out of town. I generally stay at the flat for a few days at a time, up to about a week per month in total. For the vast majority of the time, you will have this beautiful, spacious property entirely to yourself.
The Room (Your Private Suite) You will be taking the principal bedroom, situated on the lower ground floor. It is exceptionally large at 6.40m x 2.97m and functions as a self contained suite. The room is fully furnished (please note bed linens are not provided) and features:
• A dedicated space perfect for a home study, which is currently set up as a home gym.
• A large mirror fronted walk in wardrobe with extensive storage.
• A high spec private ensuite bathroom that includes a modern walk in shower, a large separate bathtub, and a wide vanity.
The Flat & Garden
Set within a Victorian building converted to a high spec, the flat boasts impressive high ceilings in the main living areas. The raised ground floor comprises a large designer-style open plan reception, dining room, and kitchen. The space is fully furnished and flooded with natural light from the front facing windows. The modern kitchen is fully integrated with high end appliances and comes fully stocked with all pots, pans, and utensils ready for you to use. It flows seamlessly into a comfortable lounge and dining area.
As a massive bonus, the property includes access to a very large, south facing communal garden. It features a BBQ setup, making it perfect for summer evenings. Please note there is no parking available with this property.
Bills & Cleaning Included
All bills are fully included in the rent. This also includes a regular cleaner who visits fortnightly to ensure the flat is kept to a high standard.
The Location & Area
The flat is located on Cleve Road in leafy South Hampstead, NW6. You have incredible transport links and amenities right on your doorstep:
• West Hampstead Stations (Jubilee Line, Overground, Thameslink): 5 min walk
• Supermarkets (Waitrose, M&S, Tesco): Short walking distance
• Local Pubs & Dining: 5 min walk to West End Lane
West Hampstead offers a brilliant neighbourhood village feel. You will have immediate access to great independent cafes, popular bakeries, fantastic local pubs (like The Alice House and The Wolfpack), and a wide array of restaurants.
The Ideal Flatmate & House Rules
We are looking for a responsible, clean, and independent working professional (strictly no students). Because you will have the run of the place for most of the month, I am looking for someone who will truly treat the flat as their own home and take excellent care of it.
When we do cross paths, we are easygoing and happy to catch up, but wealso completely respect people's privacy and independence.
• Couples welcome, but price to be adjusted accordingly given increased bills
• Guests or parties require prior permission and must not cause a nuisance to neighbours
• No smoking inside the property (vaping OK)
• The furniture, fixtures, and the rest of the home must be treated with care
• Council tax band E (Camden)
If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, please drop us a message with a bit about yourself, what you do for work, and your typical routine!
