Before the tenancy starts (payable to the landlord or agent):
Holding Deposit: One week’s rent (This will be deducted from the total move in costs, subject to the terms of the Tenant Fees Act.)
Security Deposit: Five weeks’ rent (Held under a government approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme.)
