Beautifully appointed two bedroom garden apartment within this former public house located on this leafy street in Islington close to De Beauvoir Conservation area. The property boasts an abundance of space and natural light over two floors which is further complimented by a large private garden. Wooden floors, original features and a contemporary kitchen and bathroom are further aspects that lend character and quality to a unique property.
Links to the city are available from Southgate Road or Essex Road and there is a wonderful community feel.
There is a designer spiral staircase to the lower floor, where the bedrooms are very large with lots of built in cupboard space and an airing cupboard with a washer dryer plus separate W.C. There is also a large modern bathroom with a large bath, extra large shower head, built in cupboards, a heated towel rail, twin "his and hers" sinks and under-floor heating.
The flat is in excellent condition as it was very recently painted/renovated and is equipped with a burglar alarm and security shutter.
The flat benefits from its own private entrance (the original extra large former front door of the pub and the original pub sign are features in themselves) with an entrance hall that can fit up to three bikes and lots of coats or shoes.
The large landscaped south facing private garden has garden lights, a shed and a separate entrance to the street. The smart garden decking is a great asset in the summer as it is not overlooked and a lovely sun trap.
