Teal, Sally Abé’s British bistro, opened on the street this year; Violet, Claire Ptak’s bakery, is a short walk on, and Pophams’ London Fields bakery is close by on Richmond Road. Broadway Market runs on Saturdays; Victoria Park is a walk in the other direction. Hackney Central is four minutes on foot, with direct services to Highbury & Islington and Stratford; Hackney Downs, ten minutes away, runs direct to Liverpool Street.
