Leiston is a thriving Suffolk market town offering an excellent range of everyday amenities, including independent shops, supermarkets, cafés, schools and leisure facilities. The town is home to the Sizewell C and Sizewell B developments, making it an increasingly popular location for both owner-occupiers and investors. Situated just two miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Leiston provides easy access to the sought-after coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, together with the renowned RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve and the beautiful beaches at Dunwich.
For commuters, the nearby market town of Saxmundham offers regular rail services to Ipswich, with onward connections to London Liverpool Street, while the A12 provides convenient road links both north and south.
Originally constructed during the 1950s as a training centre for Garrett Engineering, Colonial House has since served a variety of commercial purposes before being sympathetically converted into ten stylish one and two-bedroom apartments. Following an extensive refurbishment, the building now offers contemporary accommodation whilst retaining many attractive character features.
