Property description
The Grange is a fine redbrick farmhouse — a proper period home providing perfect modern day living accommodation with original character.
Set in a peaceful position approximately 5 miles from Tewkesbury, the property offers glorious far-reaching views and a genuine sense of space, whilst remaining well connected to the nearby towns of Tewkesbury, Malvern and Cheltenham
The accommodation extends to 4,048 sq ft arranged across three floors. A welcoming entrance hall leads to a sitting room with French doors opening to the rear terrace, whilst the family room is centred around a handsome inglenook fireplace with open fire and exposed beams. This opens naturally into the kitchen and dining room — the social heart of the house — where a striking island, integrated appliances and further exposed beams create a space as practical as it is inviting.
The first floor provides four generous bedrooms, three of which benefit from their own en suite bathrooms. All are presented in excellent order with good wardrobe storage and pleasant views.
The second floor has been cleverly designed to function as entirely self-contained living quarters, comprising a double bedroom, sitting room, fitted kitchen and shower room — ideal for extended family, guests or a live-in arrangement.
Of particular note is the home studio above the garage — a modern, independently accessed workspace equally suited to a home office, creative studio or business premises
Outside, the gardens are mainly laid to lawn with established trees and flower beds, enjoying an open outlook over rolling Gloucestershire countryside. The front drive leads to a central courtyard providing parking for multiple vehicles, and additional outbuildings and store rooms.
The Grange is well placed for Tewkesbury, around 5 miles from the historic market town with its wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs, theatre and leisure facilities. Transport links are excellent, with easy access to the M5 and M50, and a mainline train service from Ashchurch to London Paddington. Cheltenham, Gloucester and Malvern are all within comfortable reach, each offering further shopping, dining and leisure opportunities.
The area is well served by a strong selection of state and independent schools, with highly regarded options nearby including Cheltenham College, Cheltenham Ladies' College, Pates Grammar School, Dean Close, Kings Gloucester, Malvern College and Malvern St James.
