Property description
PROPERTYDESCRIPTION MARTIN&CO are delighted to introduce this impressive two-bedroom top-floor maisonette to the Dover rental market.
Set within a converted Georgian property on London Road, this spacious home offers a fantastic combination of modern interiors, generous room sizes and period character. The property also benefits from its own private rear garden, while some of the rooms enjoy lovely views towards Dover Castle, with glimpses of the sea.
Upon entering the maisonette, you are welcomed by a bright and contemporary bathroom. The spacious suite comprises a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin, complemented by attractive marble-effect tiling to create a clean and modern finish.
Moving along the hallway, stairs lead to the first-floor accommodation, while the ground floor continues into the spacious kitchen. The kitchen has been fitted in a stylish grey and white finish and offers plenty of room for a dining table and chairs. A window overlooks the rear garden, bringing in plenty of natural light. There is also designated space for a washing machine and fridge freezer, together with two useful additional storage areas. Integrated cooking facilities include a hob, oven and extractor.
The highlight of this floor is undoubtedly the exceptionally large living room. Featuring large, refurbished sash windows, the room is flooded with natural daylight and offers beautiful views towards Dover Castle. There is ample space for a range of living room furniture, making this an excellent room for relaxing or entertaining.
Upstairs, the property offers two generous king-size bedrooms.
The first bedroom overlooks the garden and features a beautiful original ornate window, adding a wonderful touch of period character. Finished with neutral white décor and grey carpeting, the room also benefits from two built-in wardrobes, providing excellent storage.
The second bedroom is particularly impressive. A private walk-through area leads into the bedroom, offering the ideal space for a dressing or vanity area. The bedroom itself is a generous king-size room with plenty of space for bedroom furniture, while a large walk-in wardrobe provides excellent additional storage. This room also enjoys attractive views towards Dover Castle, together with a glimpse of the sea.
Outside, the property benefits from a large private rear garden, exclusively designated for the maisonette. A fantastic addition to this already spacious home and a rare feature for a property of this type.
