Immaculate Cosy Scenic and Quiet Location 2 Double Bedrooms External Secure Storage Private Parking Beautiful Private Garden Long Term Let Fully Furnished
Immaculately presented and charming home, this cottage was formerly a full-time holiday let on Tanhurst Estate and is now offered for long term let, fully furnished. There are 2 Bedrooms (one being a Twin) and ample kitchen and living space inside, ideal for up to two adults. The truly special feature is the setting, with spacious mature private gardens, plus several secure sheds and private parking for 2 - 3 cars.
Available mid-late November 2026 on a Long Term Let.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a home in what has been a beautifully furnished and appointed holiday cottage. The Landlord (Tanhurst Estate) is seeking a long-term Tenant. It is semi-detached and set back some distance from the lane.
The attractive modern kitchen and dining areas feature soft closing cupboards and drawers, and a full suite of appliances.
Viewings and ongoing management are by the owner, giving you comfort that you know the landlord.
The accommodation (see floor plan for visual representation) comprises:
Kitchen / Diner
Sitting Room
Downstairs Bath / Shower / WC
Utility / Boot Room
Master Bedroom with Storage Cupboard
Further Twin Bedroom
Large Garden Shed
The garden is low maintenance but offers a large space to entertain or play ball games. There is a patio ideal for sitting outside in a tranquil green space. Garden maintenance options can be discussed with the landlord, but the default is that the tenant is responsible, but the landlord can by separate agreement cut the grass on the larger, lower lawn.
Please note that the property is available Fully Furnished and for long term let, with a list of mandatory Fixtures and Fittings.
Provision of any Furnishings, Fixtures and Fittings will be included in the advertised rent, however the Tenant will be responsible for their cleaning, maintenance, repair, and replacement during the tenancy. The area of Forest Green and Leith Hill is a stunning and heavily wooded area with commanding views of Sussex and London as well as Surrey of course. It is a prime spot for walking, cycling, and horse riding on the extensive public rights of way and (on foot) on the many local commons, of which there are several thousand acres and a multitude of far-reaching views.
Being rural but easily accessible, the property is walking distance from only a very small number of amenities, such as our own Vineyard and Winery, which has a Café, and a popular pub called The Parrot.
