Property description
Welcome to this perfectly positioned two bedroom apartment, situated near the very pretty centre of Fordington with its village green overlooked by the ancient church of St George; this is a light and airy ground floor apartment and is part of a stunning conversion of a former Victorian farmhouse.
The property offers abundant charm and character. The property also offers views of the private garden and beyond over the rooftops towards open countryside.
The accommodation is entered via a LOBBY into a very generous SITTING ROOM which has considerable light from the sash pane window, which still has the original shutters, and a cosy gas fire within a marble surround. From the sitting room a door opens to the rear porch, giving access to the garden.
The KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM has a full range of base and wall units with an Electrolux ™ double oven/grill, an electric hob, free standing washing machine and dish-washer. It is again a lovely bright room with deep sash pane window.
The TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS have room for additional furniture and are also equally light rooms. The master bedroom is an especially light and expansive room with a large original window with shutters which shares the same delightful outlook as the sitting room. The BATHROOM has a panelled bath, separate shower cubicle and pedestal wash-hand basin.
To the rear of the property lies the garden, providing a secluded and restful spot to enjoy in the warmer months. To the front of the property, is a good sized level patio area, large enough for a table and chairs and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. Also belonging to the apartment, is a single garage and car parking space, a rare advantage in the area.
