This location is ideal for students, with Cardiff Students’ Union less than a five-minute walk away and the city centre just beyond that. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better spot in Cardiff! Better still, the flat sits above the shops on Salisbury Road, meaning you can enjoy all the convenience of the area while being tucked away from the noise below.
As you enter the property on the ground floor, you are welcomed by a hallway with stairs leading to the upper floors, while a corridor takes you through to the spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, with access to the rear garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, gas and electric hobs, two sinks, generous storage and preparation space, plus two fridge/freezers provided by the landlord. Finished to a modern standard while still retaining plenty of character, it’s a great communal space for student living. The living area comes furnished with two sofas and a coffee table, with ample room to set up your own TV — perfect for relaxing and socialising together.
On the first floor, you’ll find four generously sized bedrooms alongside one of the bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with everything you need, including a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk, and plenty of storage space for studying and day-to-day living. There are no box rooms here — every room offers an excellent amount of space. The bathrooms are practical, fully tiled, and easy to maintain, each complete with a toilet, basin, and shower over bath. The second bathroom is located on the top floor alongside two further bedrooms, including the largest bedroom in the property.
The location truly speaks for itself. Situated on the vibrant Salisbury Road, you’ll have some of Cardiff’s best student amenities right on your doorstep. Popular spots such as Locos and the iconic Gassy’s are just moments away, while Cardiff Students’ Union is practically around the corner, offering everything from cafés and food outlets to shops and entertainment. Living above local businesses also means the area becomes much quieter in the evenings, giving you the best of both worlds.
