A one-bedroom ground-floor apartment within Atmosphere, a Montreaux building converted in 2018 from the commercial offices that once stood on Aldenham Road. Bushey Station is a few minutes on foot, with direct trains to London Euston in 17 minutes, which makes this a natural home for a professional couple who rely on an easy run into central London. The surrounding streets hold a good number of independent cafes, bars and restaurants, and there is green space close at hand.
The front door opens into a central hallway with pale wood flooring, from which every room is reached. The open-plan living area and kitchen runs to a little over 18 feet, with a large anthracite window at one end looking out onto mature trees. The kitchen is finished in white gloss, with a grey metro-tiled splashback, grey worktops, and an integrated oven, microwave and hob, along with a wine cooler set beneath the counter. Storage runs above and below, and the room is arranged so that cooking, dining and sitting share one calm, light space.
The bedroom measures 12'2" by 9' and has a built-in wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors, which keeps the floor clear around a double bed. Like the living area, it looks out onto greenery. The bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling in large-format grey, with a bath and rainfall shower behind a glass screen, a wall-hung basin, a concealed-cistern WC, a mirrored cabinet framed in oak and a heated towel rail. A cupboard off the hallway houses the hot water cylinder and offers useful storage besides.
Beyond the apartment, the communal gardens are carefully maintained, and a secure gated parking space is included.
