£2,100 PCM
This three/four double bedroom maisonette is formed from the top three floors of a period Victorian building, and has the benefit of a delightful patio garden. Located in a quiet street just behind lively Preston Circus for a good range of shops, pubs and cafes, Stanley Road has great transport links as both Brighton mainline and London Road stations are within walking distance and there are several bus stops within easy reach giving access to various parts of the city. The A23 is also easily accessible.
On the first floor there is a good size lounge with one bay window and a further window letting in plenty of light. The room is packed with period features including coved ceiling and central ceiling rose, and has parquet style flooring. There is a separate dining room with a large window overlooking the garden – this room could also be used as fourth bedroom. The kitchen features an extensive range of mid-century style wall & base units with ample space for a full range of appliances – there is an archway through to a sun room (which could be used as a breakfast area) with French doors leading to the rear garden.
On the second floor are two double bedrooms, the largest of which has a range of double wardrobes and built in shelving, a cast-iron ‘school style’ radiator and further benefits from stripped wooden floorboards. The second bedroom has large window overlooking the garden and again benefits from wooden floorboards. Also on this floor is a spacious modern dual aspect bathroom, with half tiled walls, ladder style radiator, tiled enclosed bath, low level close coupled WC and a stylish round wash hand basin inset in vanity unit. Separate walk-in shower with glazed screen and rainfall shower head.
From the landing, a staircase leads up to the third floor where there is another double bedroom with Velux windows, eaves storage and built in downlighters.
Outside is a charming walled and fenced patio paved patio garden, with brick built raised flower & shrub borders; an ideal space for entertaining or just sitting with a book and glass of wine.
Available from 19th October. Not suitable for sharers.
