TO DO
Where do we start with Birmingham? One of the UK’s largest cities, it has its own unique character and is a multicultural hub for creativity, independent eateries , bars and shops in the heart of the Midlands. You’ll find hidden gems throughout the city, however let’s start local to The Lansdowne with Edgbaston and the fantastic local places to eat including the newly opened Smoke and Ash Pizzeria, which offers the finest Italian cuisine and some great experimental cocktails. Chapter restaurant offers delicious breakfast through to dinner menus, whilst Loki Wines has an amazing choice of wines and bottled beers, which can be enjoyed on their terrace. For some good old fashioned grub, you can head to The High Field or The Physician. However, if you fancy a touch of luxury why not head to the Michelin star restaurant, Simpson.
Edgbaston Village is also home to luxury interior specialists; there are a whole host of home and lifestyle stores in the area, including Neptune, BoConcept and many others. And if you’re a fan of the active and outdoorsy lifestyle, visit Birmingham botanical gardens located only a short walk away from The Lansdowne, a truly beautiful green space featuring and wonderful glass houses.
