Property description
A unique opportunity to rent one of Ness Street's oldest properties dating back to the mid 1770's, positioned in a sought-after location within Berwick-upon-Tweed's historic Elizabethan town walls.
This Grade II Listed Georgian house is noted in the English Heritage book on the town for it's architectural interest referencing it's Chinese Chippendale staircase and has recently been sympathetically and stylishly renovated to provide a charming and atmospheric period home bursting with character. The house offers versatile and spacious living accommodation over three floors, is available fully furnished and has many period features, while offering the feel of a contemporary living space. Heated by a newly plumbed mains gas combi boiler and wood burning stoves, the property is partially double glazed and has high-end kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings.

Renowned for its Elizabethan fortifications, this period town offers access to cinema, theatre, the visual arts, regular festivals, a wide range of bars and eateries, good local and national retail outlets, supermarkets, banking and sporting facilities with direct routes along the scenic coastline for walking and cycling.
