Property description
A superb lateral apartment spanning the second floor of this majestic Grade I listed building, set in one of Bath’s most desirable areas
Description
Entering the apartment via the front door, you are immediately struck by the sense of light and space. The first room you find is a delightful dining room which, if required, could be used as a third bedroom. The room is half panelled with original shutters and views to the south across Bath.
The central hallway of the apartment leads on to a very good sized and well-equipped kitchen with room to dine at one end, whilst enjoying garden views. There is an integrated dishwasher, gas hob with electric oven and an integrated fridge.
A further door from the kitchen gives access to a very handy study that in turn leads to the elegant drawing room. There is a fine period painted timber fireplace and large sash windows with shutters giving wonderful views to the south and across the City.
The two bedrooms are set with views to the rear gardens of Sion Hill Place and are particularly attractive. Both bedrooms have built-in cupboards and bedroom one has shutters. There is a shower room which doubles as a cloakroom and a family bathroom. In the hall you find two built-in cupboards, one housing the Vaillant boiler.
