Tenure - Lease

Introduction - Torbay Council invites offers from parties interested in entering into a Lease for the right to place a catering concession on the Inner Harbour Slipway, Vaughan Parade, Torquay, TQ2 5EG for a period of up to 5 years.

Location - The Slipway lies to the north of Torquay Inner Harbour on Vaughan Parade. Torquay's harbour is located at the heart of the town centre. The harbour is surrounded by a wide variety of facilities, restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all pockets, from locally sourced fish and chips to Michelin starred dining. To the west of Torquay Harbour lies the Princess Theatre and Torre Abbey Sands. Venturing further into the town, visitors will uncover further eating and drinking opportunities and a good range of shopping and visitor attractions.

Viewing - Interested parties are free to view the location at their leisure.

Rateable Value / Street Trading Permit - The catering concession can be either permanent/static requiring planning permission or temporary/mobile requiring a street trading licence. The Tenant will be responsible for the payment of either business rates or street trading licence fee that will become due during the period of the licence. Therefore, we advise all interested parties to check with the Local Authority in respect of their specific intentions.
