As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.
Permitted Payments
Before the tenancy starts (payable to Thornley Groves 'the Agent')
- Holding Deposit (Reservation Fee): 1 week's rent.
- Security Deposit: 5 weeks' rent (6 weeks' rent on properties with rent more than £50,000 a year).
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent):
- Payment of £50 inc. VAT (net £41.67) if you want to change the Tenancy Agreement (for example, adding a new person to the Tenancy).
- Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above Bank of England base rate.
- Payment of reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices.
- Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the Tenancy/breaking the contract.*
*The Tenant will be required to give one month's notice & will be subject to paying the Landlord the equivalent of two month's rent, along with his reasonable costs incurred in identifying a replacement tenant.
Other Permitted Payments
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
