Platform Housing are delighted to offer three unfurnished one-bedroom apartments set within communal grounds in Victoria Court, a Retirement Living scheme in Matlock.  The apartments aresuitable for a single person or couple.

Applicants are required to be 60+ or 55+ if in receipt of PIP/DLA to be considered for this property.

Victoria Court is set in Matlock, a town which benefits from many local amenities including supermarkets, eateries, as well as great transport links with Matlock railway station just under a mile away. There are bus services which run between Matlock, Sheffield and Chesterfield.

Please note, applicants for upper-floor apartments must be able to safely use stairs in the event of an emergency.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer. and you will need to complete an application form.

Please note that if you are claiming or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include a £53.80pcm personal heating charge; £9.33pcm towards cost of administration; £0.23pcm towards cost of TV licence for communal areas and a £8.15pcm charge towards the cost of support. A Lettings Officer can give you a full break breakdown of the charges of what is eligible for payments.

If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.

If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. You will only need to give notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.

If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
