? Permitted Charges:
Holding deposit – 1 week's rent (to reserve the property)
Tenancy deposit – Up to 5 weeks' rent (for rent under £50,000/year) or 6 weeks' rent (if above)
Rent – As agreed in the tenancy contract
Utilities & Council Tax – As applicable to the property and tenancy
Default fees (if written into the tenancy agreement):
Late rent: Interest at 3% above Bank of England base rate (after 14 days)
Lost key or security device: Reasonable cost of replacement
Variation to contract (if requested by the tenant): £50 (or reasonable cost if higher)
Early termination fee (if requested by the tenant): Limited to landlord’s financial loss or reasonable costs
We do not charge any fees for:
Admin or paperwork
Check-ins or check-outs
Inventory preparation
Renewals or referencing
